Roaming freely in the wilds of Tsavo. Tsavo National Park, aptly named “Theater of the Wild” boosts of largest population of elephants although poachers have brought the numbers down. They need to be stopped by all means possible!!
What a breath taking scene!? Imagine a world without this? What worth would the wild have? Stop poaching!
Such a great family.
A herd of elephants in Tsavo East National Park.
Poachers are most selfish people. They deserve no mercies. Imagine how many Kenyans have never seen an elephant. Most might even die before they see any. Why would anyone want to kill such an intelligent animal just to get whatever it is that they kill elephants for? Let’s Tembea Kenya and keep our parks busy and give the animals the much needed accompany.
Roam freely. It is your territory.
Posing with this Elephant named Mzima at Tsavo East National Park in Taita Taveta County, Kenya. I thank God that He gave me this (might be once in a life time) opportunity. Mzima and a number of other Jumbos are at a nursery under the care of David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/). It is not a small feat to get such a pose. I am worried though. In near future, Mzima and other elephants might be wiped out of the earth’s surface if poaching is just left to continue. I wonder why those in positions to stop it just sit and watch as it escalates. A few days before our visit to Tsavo, there were reports of five elephants being killed. Sad.
